シリコンバレーベンチャーズはSustainaSeedとパートナーシップを締結しました

株式会社シリコンバレーベンチャーズはサスティナシード株式会社とパートナーシップを締結し、SDGsをはじめ、サスティナブル領域の認知向上に貢献致します。

サスティナシード株式会社は、サスティナビリティの向上を目指すスタートアップ企業で、サスティナブルに関連したプロジェクトを取り扱う、購買・寄付型クラウドファンディングプラットフォーム「サスティナシード」を開設しています。

代表者の中畑裕子氏は、IPOを果たしたベンチャー企業に従事し、上場の同年より子会社の代表取締役社長に就任。その後、独立起業・事業売却を行い、2010年、香港に移住。多国籍企業に在籍し、主に東南アジアでの新規法人立ち上げ・管理を複数経験した後、国内外グループ法人11社の管理部門統括の為2017年に帰国。2018年よりJASDAQ上場企業および東証一部上場企業の社外取締役を歴任しています。英国MBA取得し、卒業論文テーマには「ファストファッションにおけるCSR」を執筆し、ハーバードビジネススクールオンライン・サスティナブルビジネスストラテジーコース終了するなど、サスティナビリティへの高い関心を持っています。

自身が上場企業の役員であることから、ジェンダーギャップを含むサスティナビリティ課題に直面し、これを解決すべく、2021年6月、サスティナシード株式会社を設立しています。

Notice of Partnership Silicon Valley Ventures has entered into a partnership with SustainaSeed Inc. to help raise awareness of the SDGs and other sustainable areas.

SustinaSeed Inc. is a startup company that aims to improve sustainability, and has established “SustinaSeed,” a purchasing and donation crowdfunding platform that handles projects related to sustainability.

The CEO, Yuko Nakahata, has worked for a venture company that achieved an IPO and became the president of a subsidiary the same year it went public. She then started her own business and sold her business, and moved to Hong Kong in 2010. After working for a multinational company and gaining experience in launching and managing several new corporations mainly in Southeast Asia, she returned to Japan in 2017 to manage 11 domestic and overseas group companies.She holds an MBA from the UK, wrote her dissertation on “CSR in Fast Fashion” and completed the Harvard Business School Online, Sustainable Business Strategies course, and has a strong interest in sustainability.

As a board member of a publicly listed company herself, she has faced sustainability challenges, including the gender gap, and has established SustainaSeed Inc. in June 2021 to address these issues.
