2025年1月25日（土）にグローバル人材の育成を目指すGlobal Communication Gymの第42回「バルト三国とその先を探索する〜昆虫食の第一人者 Edite との旅〜」をオンラインで開催しました。

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, we hosted the 42nd session of Global Communication Gym—an initiative dedicated to nurturing global talent—under the theme: “Exploring the Baltics and Beyond — A Journey with Edite, a Pioneer in Edible Insects.” The event was held online.

ラトビアにて昆虫食のリーダー的存在として評価されているEdite Ligere氏を講師にお招きして、ラトビア、エストニア、リトアニアからなるバルト三国の魅力や栄養豊富な代替食品として注目度が高まっている昆虫食について、わかりやすく解説していただきました。

We welcomed Edite Ligere, a leading figure in the field of edible insects in Latvia, as our guest speaker. She provided clear and engaging insights into the unique appeal of the Baltic States—Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania—as well as the growing attention on edible insects as a nutritious and sustainable alternative food source.

また、レッスン後はGCG年会員様のみのオンラインオフ会を開催し、みんなで学びの共有や英語でのQ&Aタイムなどをして、交流を楽しみました。ご参加いただいた皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。素晴らしい時間と出会いをありがとうございました。

Following the session, we hosted an exclusive online social gathering for GCG annual members, where participants enjoyed sharing their takeaways, engaging in a Q\&A session in English, and connecting with one another. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us—thank you for the wonderful time and meaningful encounters.
